Sri Kotla Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy, the then MP of Kurnool and Cabinet Minister and Ex. CM of joint Andhra Pradesh and Sri Pendekanti Venkata Subbayya, the then MP of Nandyal were instrumental in getting the KV sanctioned for Kurnool in 1988.

Later Sri E Mallikarjun Reddy,an FCI officer and Sri Y Vishweshwara Sharma, Senior Telephone Supervisor, BSNL dept played a significant role in getting the land allotted for the school.
